National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by the Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. This simple to use, dependable and personable emblem of NDLI in green colour which, stands for prosperity, growth, progress and freshness of thought; the open book, embodies open and accessible education; the person stands for learners across class, creed and category and the circle represents the all-inclusive nature of the library which is envisioned to unite and empower the country and its 1.3 billion people under one single platform. Roboto Slab is used in the this logo mark.
