CENTRAL UNIVERSITY OF JHARKHAND

The Central University of Jharkhand came into being on March 1, 2009. The three colours of the logo have been chosen with reference to what the ancient Upanishads. Green stands for vitality and growth and greenery of the region; maroon and yellow ring symbolises existence and dynamism, simplicity and wisdom; golden yellow stands for knowledge, wisdom and prosperity; wheat crown represents the rich agriculture of Jharkhand and banyan tree represents learning, enlightenment and magnificence. The motto of the university in Sanskrit is ‘ज्ञानाद हि बुद्धि कौशलम्’ meaning ‘Knowledge to Wisdom’.

RAJMATA VIJAYARAJE SCINDIA KRISHI VISHWA VIDYALAYA The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 19, 2008 by bifurcating the JNKVV, Jabalpur. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. The ears of wheat signifies prosperity, food, wealth and nourishment and the colour green signifies agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.

THULASI ARTS AND SCIENCE COLLEGE FOR WOMEN (THULASI COLLEGE) The logo of Thulasi Arts and Science College for Women (Thulasi College) features a green pictorial of an open book with ‘Thulasi’ written on supporting a bird on flight, with the motto of the college ‘My College My Pride’ written at the bottom. The name of the college is written in green on the right. The book  refers to education, learning and wisdom; and the bird in flight is a powerful universal symbol of freedom, independence, and the soul’s journey, representing the ability to rise above earthly struggles.

TIRUNELVELI DAKASHINA MARA NADAR SANGAM COLLEGE (TDMNS COLLEGE)  The emblem of Tirunelveli Dakashina Mara Nadar Sangam College (TDMNS College) features a yellow and red shield inscribed with the motifs of a traditional lamp, a lotus, an open book and a star. The name and place of the college surmounts the shield. A white banner inscribed with the motto of the college ‘To Foster the Divine in the Human’ is on the shield at the bottom. AMITY UNIVERSITY RAJASTHAN The emblem of Amity University Rajasthan (AU R) has a shield divided into yellow and dark blue sections. The dark blue portion is a left to right upward sweeping stroke, bearing the name of the university. The yellow portion has a torch, the flame of which is written using its acronym. The shield has blue borderlines. The name and place of the university is written on the right side of the pictorial in classic serif font. The circular emblem in orange and green has a gear wheel housing a pair of laurels and circle containing a map of India and its year of establishment ensconced by its motto ‘Knowledge is Power’ on a green border. The gear wheel signifies interconnectedness; efficiency and precision; progress and advancement; synchronisation and timing and order and structure; the laurels signify victory and achievement, they are a reminder of the hard work and dedication that it takes to achieve success; map of India denotes its service to the entire India and to the world; the colour orange symbolises energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and happiness and the colour green symbolises agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.

The vignetted blue to cyan colour circular logo has a partial structure of atom on top and its acronyms in Devanagari and English. The motto of the institution is written along the circumference in Devanagari ‘राष्ट्र की सेवा में परमाणु’ meaning ‘Atoms in the Service of the Nation, above and below respectively in grey. The taglines are supported on either side by Indian National Tricolour stripes.

(Jijau Bank) has a profile image of Rajmata Jijau on a green circle ensconced by a partial gear wheel which is inscribed with its name and place in Devanagari. This assemblage is supported by a red banner bearing its motto ‘राष्ट्रमेव जयते’ meaning ‘Let the Nation Triumph’. The gear wheel refers to industry and industrial financing.
