CENTRAL UNIVERSITY OF JHARKHAND

The Central University of Jharkhand came into being on March 1, 2009. The three colours of the logo have been chosen with reference to what the ancient Upanishads. Green stands for vitality and growth and greenery of the region; maroon and yellow ring symbolises existence and dynamism, simplicity and wisdom; golden yellow stands for knowledge, wisdom and prosperity; wheat crown represents the rich agriculture of Jharkhand and banyan tree represents learning, enlightenment and magnificence. The motto of the university in Sanskrit is ‘ज्ञानाद हि बुद्धि कौशलम्’ meaning ‘Knowledge to Wisdom’.

INDIRA GANDHI RASHTRIYA URAN AKADEMI The foundation stone of Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi, (IGRUA), was laid by Rajiv Gandhi on November 7, 1985 at Fursatganj district Raebareli, Uttar Pradesh. The Akademi functions under the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India through its governing council, is an autonomous body under the control of the Ministry of Civil Aviation. The emblem of IGRUA has Ashoka Chakra in the centre supported bywings on both sides. It has its name written in Devanagari and English on top and bottom respectively in dark red colour.

NATIONAL SINGLE WINDOW SYSTEM The National Single Window System (NSWS) is a digital platform to guide you in identifying and applying for approvals according to your business requirements. The Know Your Approvals (KYA) module includes guidance for thirty two Central Departments and thirty two States. The portal hosts applications for approvals from twenty eight Central Departments and twenty State Governments. These approvals can be applied through NSWS. Its logo has an emblem in inverted ‘s’ in black starting with an orange dot and ending with a green dot, symbolising the application and approvals of proposals through a single window. INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (BANARAS HINDU UNIVERSITY) VARANASI The Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) (IIT BHU) Varanasi owes its existence to Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya, the founder of the first residential University of modern India, Banaras Hindu University (BHU). Engineering education in BHU started in 1919 with the establishment of Banaras Engineering College (BENCO). The next stage of development saw the establishment of College of Technology (TECHNO) and College of Mining & Metallurgy (MINMET).
