INDIAN OVERSEAS BANK

Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) was founded on February 10, 1937 by Shri. M. Ct. M. Chidambaram Chettyar. The emblem of the bank is an abstract motif created using its acronym 'IOB’. It shows two three layered tilted square boxes aligned diagonally side by side denoting multi layered security of the operations and the trust generated by the same. The top three stroke arrow means growth, achievement and progress. The colour blue used for the logo is the colour of trust and confidence.
