The emblem of Anna Adarsh College For Women (AACW) features a yellow ochre circle with a shield inscribed with the motifs of a lotus, a bunch of flowers and a pair of concentric circles, surmounted by the motto of the college ‘Perseverance Purity Perfection’ and supported by the college’s year of inception. The circle has a pair of blue outlines. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the lotus denotes purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty; the bunch of flowers love, beauty, celebration, divine devotion, purity, and the fleeting nature of life; the concentric circles symbolise harmony, wholeness, unity, and the expansion of energy from a single, central point; and the yellow ochre colour symbolises eternity, divinity and life.
