The emblem of Yuvaguru College of Arts and Science (YGRCAS)  features a brown and gree shield inscribed with the name  of the ‘Yavaguru’ supported by an open book with a torch with flame. The shield is supported by the college’s motto ‘Education To Elevate’ and a pair of laurels. The year of establishment of the college is written above the shield. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the book denotes knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; the torch with flame is an emblem of enlightenment, hope, life, truth and the regenerative power; and the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.

KALINGA INSTITUTE OF INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) was established in 1992 as a vocational training centre with two staff and twelve students. KIIT owes its existence to the vision of its founder Prof. Achyuta Samanta. The green colour emblem of the institute has a bottom half of a gear wheel supporting the acronym ‘KIIT’ of its name in which the two ‘i’s depicting two humans.
