The emblem of Ananda College (AC) features a blue panel inscribed with the motifs of a globe holding a traditional lamp and supported by a pair of abstract humans on sides and an open book at the bottom. The motto of the college ‘அன்பில் ஒளிர’ meaning ‘To Shine in Love’ surmounts the motifs and the name of the college in Tamil supports them. The globe denotes education, knowledge, influence, timelessness, global unity and interconnectedness; the lamp refers to light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; the book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; and the humans symbolises the efforts of the educated and knowledgeable students protecting the globe.

UTTARANCHAL UNIVERSITY Uttaranchal University has come a long way since its inception in 2013 providing world class multidisciplinary education. The university's mission is to inculcate the essence of the Sanskrit Shloka ‘पदं हि सर्वत्र गुणैर्निधीयते’ meaning ‘Good Qualities Put their Footprints Everywhere’. The logo of the university has a blue and green abstract pictorial of ‘U’ and on its right a wordmark of its name in capitals thin serif letters with smooth transition of strokes. The counter of the ‘U’ is filled blue and a stroke of blue and green flows across diagonally from left to right top. This is further cut out by another ‘U’ at the top right corner. The colour blue represents serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty and the colour green denotes life, production, fertility, agriculture, environment and nature.
