College of Physical Education (Autonomous) features a traditional Western oil lamp placed in the counter of an inverted equilateral triangle inscribed with the words ‘Atman Sariram Manas’ and ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name of the college and its year of inception. The inverted triangle is the official emblem of ‘YMCA’ movement referring to the balanced appreciation of spirit, mind and  body; the lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; the Sanskrit words ‘Atman Sariram Manas’ represents the three aspects of human development of ‘Spitrit Mind Body’Overall Meaning: The emblem signifies the institution's mission, established in 1920, to foster well-rounded individuals by promoting physical education alongside mental and spiritual growth.
