ANNAI JKK SAMPOORANI AMMAL COLLEGE OF EDUCATION (JKKM)

The emblem of Annai JKK Sampoorani Ammal College of Education (JKKM) features the letter ‘M’ in red colour surmounted by the motifs of a pair of plants, a traditional lamp and its name. The motifs of an open book, a globe and a mortarboard hat are placed in the counters of the letter ‘M”. Below the letter, the tagline of the college ‘Learn Teach Excel’ is written. The lamp symbolises symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; the plants refer to growth, nature and sustainability; the book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; the globe denotes education, knowledge, influence, timelessness, global unity and interconnectedness; and the mortarboard hat or Oxford hat denotes educational achievement, equality, tradition and rights of passage.
