The emblem of Manbumigu Dr.Puratchi Thalaivar M.G.R. Government Arts and Science College (Co-Ed), Kattumannar Koil (MGRGASC KmKoil) features the gopuram of the Veeranarayana Perumal Temple, a group of ladies working in a paddy field and an open book ensconced by a pair of sheafs of crests of paddy and a green circular banner inscribed with the name of the college in Tamil. The motto of the college 'Bringing Economically Poor Rural Youth to the Reachable Heights’ is inscribed on a red banner placed below the seal. The gopuram refers to the history and heritage of the locale and divine blessings and guidance; the paddy sheafs and the women in the field refer to agriculture, farming and sustenance; and the book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom.
