The emblem of Anugraha Institute of Social Sciences & Research Centre (AISSRC) features two hands reaching towards each other, which is strongly reminiscent of Michelangelo's ‘Creation of Adam’, symbolising creation, connection, and the potential for human interaction and social change. The hands are surmounted by a ‘T’ shape representing the Tau cross, a symbol within the Franciscan and Capuchin traditions (the institute was founded by Capuchin fathers). It symbolises commitment, redemption, and a simple, evangelical life. The name of the college is inscribed on a brown circular border around the motifs. The motto of the college ‘Touch to Re-Create’, which relates to the hands graphic and reinforces the theme of recreation, transformation, and making a positive impact. Together, these elements convey a mission focused on human connection, social transformation, and a spiritual foundation for their work in social sciences and counselling.
