The octagonal orange emblem of Rajgad Dnyanpeeth's Shri Chhatrapati Shivajiraje College of Engineering (RDSCSCoE) features an open book, a farmer with a hoe, a factory building, a leaf with a set of gear wheels, another leaf with a person with a mortarboard hat and a pair of laurels. The book is supported by the motto of the college in Sanskrit Sanskrit ‘प्रज्वलितो ज्ञानमय प्रदीपः’ (Verse 2, Gita Dhyanam) meaning ‘The Lamp of Wisdom is Lit’, the name of the college and its year of establishment. The octagon has a broad brown colour border. The book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; the farmer refers to agriculture; the factory refers to industry; the gear wheels refer to engineering and technology; mortarboard hat or Oxford hat denotes educational achievement, equality, tradition and rights of passage; the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication; the leaves denote nature, growth and sustenance; the octagon symbolises renewal, balance and infinity; the colour orange signifies  energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and happiness
