The emblem of the Adhi Parasakthi College of Arts and Science (APCAS) features a ‘trishool’ or trident, an open book, a glowing sun and a microscope ensconced by a decorative circular border inscribed with the name of the college. Below the seal, the motto of the college ‘Study Spirituality Service’ is inscribed on a banner. The trident refers to the Goddess Adhi Parasakthi, who has a ‘trishool’ in Her hands and its symbolises divine blessings and guidance; represents life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity; the book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; and the microscope refers to science and technology.

POOJYA DODDAPPA APPA COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING (PDA COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING) The emblem of Poojya Doddappa Appa College of Engineering (PDA College of Engineering) features gearwheel inscribed with its name and its motto in Sanskrit ‘विद्या गुरूणां गुरुः’ (Guru Vishnu Sharma, Hitopdesha) meaning ‘Education is the Teacher of the Teachers’ inscribed on it;  holding an image of a lighthouse above water. The gearwheel is supported by a pair of smaller gear wheels at the bottom sides. The motifs of a structural bridge and electrical transmission towers are placed inside the smaller gear wheels referring to the study of engineering. The name of the place of college is written below the gearwheel. The gearwheels denote interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; and the lighthouse refers to guidance, safety and resilience.

MODEL ENGINEERING COLLEGE, KOCHI (MEC) The emblem of Model Engineering College, Kochi (MEC) features a pair of elephants supporting a computer and a microprocessor crested by a burning torch with diagrams of wave and electronic circuit placed inside a gearwheel and supported by a banner. Below the banner, its tagline ‘Manpower Development’ is written. At the bottom, on a large banner the name of the college is inscribed. FUND FOR IMPROVEMENT OF S&T INFRASTRUCTURE IN UNIVERSITIES AND HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS The orange, grey and blue service mark of Fund for Improvement of S&T Infrastructure in Universities and Higher Educational Institutions (FIST) has a structure of an atom in a circle with orange border, houses the motifs of the National Emblem, a hose, a globe, recycle emblem, and open book and a lens. a motif of a factory and a book and a mortarboard hat. The orange border is inscribed with the name of the Ministry. All these are ensconced by a dark blue circular border, the name of the programme and its acronym are written. EMBLEM OF ODISHA The state emblem of Odisha incorporates a horse which is about to be mounted by a rider. This is a reproduction of a sculpture found in the famous Sun Temple of Konark in the eastern sea coast of Odisha. This has been adapted as a state emblem by Government of Orissa. Home Department resolution dated the third August 1964 through order Number 20634-IE.-1/64-Pol. The order says “The question of adopting a separate State Emblem for this State in place of Ashoka Pillar’ was under consideration of Government. On the advice of the Sub-committee appointed by the Council of Ministers it was decided to adopt the design of the ‘Konark Horse’ symbolizing discipline, strength and progress as the State Emblem”.
