The emblem of TSSM's Bhivarabai Sawant College of Engineering and Research, Narhe (TSSM BSCOER) features a shield housing an open book inscribed with the motifs of a computer, a gearwheel, a set of buildings, an electrical transmission tower and a satellite dish antenna and the initials of the college ‘TSSM’. The shield is ensconced by a light blue circular border inscribed with the name and place. Below the seal, on a banner, the motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘तंत्रज्ञानात आत्मोन्नती’ meaning ‘Advancement Through Technology’ is inscribed. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the book denotes knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; and the other motifs refer to the subject disciplines of engineering and technology.

RAJMATA VIJAYARAJE SCINDIA KRISHI VISHWA VIDYALAYA The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 19, 2008 by bifurcating the JNKVV, Jabalpur. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. Sharma, FRS, recommended that the laboratories in Delhi, Calcutta and Hyderabad must be developed as Science and Technology institutions, functioning in an autonomous fashion. In the first phase, the three Central Forensic Science Laboratories at Calcutta, Hyderabad, and Chandigarh were restructured into six scientific division viz.
