At the bottom, on the seal, the motto of the college ‘Will Wisdom Worship’ is inscribed on a yellow banner. The glowing star symbolises hope, guidance, inspiration, and brilliance; the book  denotes knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; the antenna refers to science and technology; and the crescent with star and the palmyrah refers to God’s blessings, guidance and the college’s religious affiliation.

JSS SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY UNIVERSITY The emblem of JSS Science and Technology University (JSSSTU) features the picture of Sri Adi Jagadguru Bagavatpada, which is ensconced in the letter ‘ॐ’ drawn as a border. In the border at the top 'ಕಾಯಕವೇ ಕೈಲಾಸ' in Kannada  meaning ‘Work is Worship’ and at the bottom ‘JSS Maha Vidyapeetha’ are written. These are further circumscribed by three pairs of two overlapping arrows in orange and blue forming a revolving pattern also forming a hexagon. The emblem denotes constant evolution and growth.
