The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the church refers to divine blessings and guidance; the Cross is a primary symbol of Christianity; the palmyra tree represents the local tree known for various produces; the book denotes knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; and the star symbolises protection, balance, and human connection to the elements.
