The shield-shaped emblem of Annai Therasa Arts And Science College (ATASCTKM) features a torch with flame, an open book and an image of the sacred Thirukalukundram hill, located near Chengalpattu in Tamil Nadu, which is famous for the 14th-century Sri Vedagiriswarar (Shiva) temple on its summit. It is known as Pakshi Theertham or the ‘Hill of Eagles’. The shield is crested by a rising sun and supported by its name and place in Tamil. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the sun represents life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity; the torch with flame is an emblem of enlightenment, hope, life, truth and the regenerative power; and the book denotes knowledge, education, learning and wisdom.

RAJMATA VIJAYARAJE SCINDIA KRISHI VISHWA VIDYALAYA The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 19, 2008 by bifurcating the JNKVV, Jabalpur. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. The ears of wheat signifies prosperity, food, wealth and nourishment and the colour green signifies agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.
