The shield-shaped emblem of Annai Therasa Arts And Science College (ATASCTKM) features a torch with flame, an open book and an image of the sacred Thirukalukundram hill, located near Chengalpattu in Tamil Nadu, which is famous for the 14th-century Sri Vedagiriswarar (Shiva) temple on its summit. It is known as Pakshi Theertham or the ‘Hill of Eagles’. The shield is crested by a rising sun and supported by its name and place in Tamil.
