The shield-shaped emblem of Annai Scholastica Arts and Science College for Women (ASASCW) features the motifs of a stack of books with a mortarboard hat and a scroll, a glowing flame in orange, a girl claiming six steps of six colours towards a trophy,  a banyan tree and a female sex symbol housing an abstract motif of group of girls and a cross. The name of the college is written below the shield. The motto of the college ‘Dream, Dare, Be the Change’ is written on a banner placed below the shield. The group of girls refer to the ‘women’s college; the Cross refer to the religious orientation of the college; the female symbol denotes empowerment of women and refer to the island of Rameswaram; the books refer to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; the mortarboard hat or Oxford hat with a scroll denote educational achievement, equality, tradition and rights of passage; the flame of fire symbolises the kindling and enabling girls’ education and removal of ignorance; the girl, the six steps and the trophy refer to inspiration, determination, innovation, excellence, passion and vision of the girls to reach for the achievement of success of the trophy; the tree symbolises strength, individuality, expression, calmness, growth, the interconnectedness of everything and perpetuity; and the shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery.

The insignia of the institution has a innumerable concentric petalled lotus in a red circle encircled by its name and motto in Sanskrit ‘ज्ञान पंथ कृपान कै धारा’ meaning ‘Cult of Knowledge is Through the Blessings’ and is ensconced in a blue gear wheel turning clockwise. No. 15 Squadron NO 15 SQUADRON The No. 15 Squadron of Indian Air Force was formed on August 2, 1951 at Ambala. In 1983, the ‘Flying Lances’ were the first MiG-21 Bis squadron in the Air Force to be modified for the Matra Magic R55, air to air missiles. The squadron was again number plated in 2009 and re-raised in 2012 on the Su-30 at Sirsa AFS. The No. 15 Squadron’s motto is ‘Nihantavya Shatava’ meaning ‘Annihilate the Enemy’. This Squadron is also called ‘Flying Lances’. Its insignia has a flying lancer in the centre with a ball of fire background. It currently operates the Mikoyan MiG-21 from Jodhpur.

SARLA BIRLA UNIVERSITY Sarala Birla University (SBU) is a self-financed private unitary university. The emblem of the university has a leaf of ‘bilva’ symbolising the Trinetra or three eyes of Lord Shiva, like volition, action and knowledge is placed in an orange circle. The middle leaf has the motifs of a sun and a lotus in  a waterbody. In the three grooves of the leaves the motifs of an elephant, shanka or conch and a swan are placed.
