THE TAMILNADU DR. AMBEDKAR LAW UNIVERSITY

The Government of Tamilnadu by an Act of State Legislature [Act No.43 of 1997] established The Tamilnadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University. It was inaugurated on September 20, 1997 and the university started from October 3, 1997 onwards.The emblem of the university has a globe with red land areas and black ocean areas and with the location of India in green. The globe is surrounded by a band of halo in yellow which carries its motto in Tamil ‘சட்டம் மேலானது’  and Latin ‘Lex Supremus’ meaning ‘Law is Supreme’.

The shield is supported by a pair of laurels. NATIONAL INSTITUTE FOR SMART GOVERNMENT National Institute for Smart Government (NISG) was set up as a non-profit company setup in Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) in 2002 with 51% equity contributed by the private sector and 49% by the public sector under the recommendations of The National Taskforce on Information Technology and Software Development. The NISG was registered as a Section 25 company in May 2002 with its headquarters at Hyderabad. The vision of NISG is to establish itself as a centre of excellence in e-Governance to facilitate application of public and private resources to e-Governance in the areas of: strategic planning, project consulting, capacity building, and research and innovation. The NISG logo has a unique typeface wherein the letter ‘N’ has been shown as a bridge which depicts the connection between public and private sector.

SANT BABA BHAG SINGH UNIVERSITY The emblem of Sant Baba Bhag Singh University (SBBSU) in orange and blue has a Khanda forming the background for orange rising sun supported by an open book and a pair of laurels on sides surmounted by its acronym.
