HOMI BHABHA NATIONAL INSTITUTE

The Homi Bhabha National Institute (HBNI) was established in 2005 under Section 3 of the UGC Act. HBNI has centres in Mumbai, Kalpakkam, Indore, Kolkata, Gandhinagar, Bhubaneswar, Allahabad and Chennai as its constituent institutions and an off-campus centre in Bhubaneswar. The emblem of the institute has a monogram of its acronym depicted as a butterfly supporting the red glowing rays depicting nuclear fuel rods and crested by a structure of an atom. All these are ensconced in a white border with red outlines carrying the name of the institute in Devanagari and English. The atomic structure symbolises the core domain of the university and the butterfly symbolises transformation, change, rebirth and renewal.

NATIONAL AIDS CONTROL ORGANISATION Every person living with HIV in India gets access to ‘quality care and is treated with dignity' is the motto of the National Aids Control Organisation (NACO). NACO has taken measures to ensure that such people live a life without stigma and discrimination. Established under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in 1992, NACO is the nodal organisation for the formulation of policy and implementation of programmes for prevention and control of HIV/ AIDS in India. The logo for NACO is a wordmark consisting of text, typeface, and red cross ribbon wrapped around the letter 'A' in NACO. The red ribbon represents the organisation's elemental area of work towards the programmes for prevention and control of HIV/ AIDS in India.

UTTARANCHAL UNIVERSITY Uttaranchal University has come a long way since its inception in 2013 providing world class multidisciplinary education. The university's mission is to inculcate the essence of the Sanskrit Shloka ‘पदं हि सर्वत्र गुणैर्निधीयते’ meaning ‘Good Qualities Put their Footprints Everywhere’. The logo of the university has a blue and green abstract pictorial of ‘U’ and on its right a wordmark of its name in capitals thin serif letters with smooth transition of strokes. The counter of the ‘U’ is filled blue and a stroke of blue and green flows across diagonally from left to right top. This is further cut out by another ‘U’ at the top right corner. The colour blue represents serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty and the colour green denotes life, production, fertility, agriculture, environment and nature. The logo is modern, trendy and attractive.
