The emblem of the institute is s conch or the ‘Shankha’ which is considered sacred in Hinduism as the emblem of Lord Vishnu and Buddhism is placed on a pedestal in orange colour. It is also known as ‘panchajanya’ and used for spreading the message and for invocation. At the bottom its motto in Sanskrit ‘णाणस्स सारमायारो’ meaning ‘Let the Voice of Peace, Nonviolence and Harmony Spread Throughout the World’ is written.
