Established in 1920 as The Catholic Syrian Bank Limited, CSB Bank Limited had its beginning in November 1920. In 1972 it opened its first branch in Chembur, Mumbai. It had rebranded itself in the year 2019 by change of name. The logo of CSB Bank features a stylized representation of a lotus flower in orange. The lotus is a significant symbol in Indian culture, representing purity, enlightenment and self-regeneration.
