The circular emblem of the Chaudhary Charan Singh, Haryana Agricultural University (CCSHAU) has the motifs of a human lifting aloft a bundle of wheat stalk, a field of corn, a tractor, a cattle, a microscope, an open book bearing its motto in ‘Agriculture is Supreme Wealth’ and the human motif is supported by a banner on which the motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषिरेव महालक्ष्मीः’ is inscribed. All these are placed in a blue and green circle surmounted by an entrance arch symbolising the entrance to the university of knowledge. The motifs are held by a blue circular border which bears the name and year of establishment of the university in Devanagari. These are ensconced by white border with black outline, which bears the name of the university. All the motifs represent agriculture, its inputs and outputs and how these are held in high esteem by the society. The open book symbolises knowledge, wisdom and education; the colour green denotes agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth and the colour blue denotes serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.
