The ICFAI University Dehradun is established under the provisions of The ICFAI University Act 2003 (Act 16 of 2003) enacted by the State of Uttarakhand. The ICFAI University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand is sponsored by the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India (ICFAI). The logo of the university has the acronym of its name written in capital slab serif font in blue colour, supported by a red banner on which ‘University’ is written. Below this ‘Dehradun’ is written in blue. Its recognition under UGC is written in red. The colour red represents passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy and celebration and the colour blue denotes trust, character and integrity.
