UNIFIED MOBILE APPLICATION
FOR NEW-AGE GOVERNANCE

UMANG (Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance) is developed by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and National e-Governance Division (NeGD) to drive Mobile Governance in India. UMANG provides a single platform to access major pan India e-Gov services from Central and State Government Departments and also Utility Bill payment services. This application serves as a unified platform providing access to more than one thousand and two hundred central and state government services such as AADHAR, DigiLocker, PAN, CBSE, tax and fee or utility bill payments, e-District and passport. The services are available in multiple Indian languages. The app was launched on November 23, 2017. The orange and blue colour logo of UMANG has an index finger touching blue colour mobile phone and its acronym written at the bottom using a round ended medium sans serif font.

RASHTROTTHANA PARISHAT Rashtrotthana Parishat is a not for profit social service voluntary organisation. It has its headquarters at Kempegowda Nagar, Bangalore, India. It is established in the year 1965. Its emblem has a map of India lit with a traditional lamp spreading light and crested by a gopuram, which symbolise the reverence to the nation and treating it as God. It is supported by its motto in Sanskrit ‘राष्ट्रदेवो भव’ meaning ‘Nation is God’ and a book meaning knowledge and wisdom. The emblem is put on a pedestal which bears its name ‘Rashtrotthana Parshad’ in Kannada.

INDIAN INSTITUTE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ALLAHABAD The Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad (IIIT-A) was established in 1999, as a centre of excellence in Information Technology and allied areas. The institute was conferred the ‘Deemed University’ status by the Government of India in the year 2000. The emblem of IIT-A has ‘@’ spreading its reach symbolising the reach of information technology, which is ensconced by a horn like shape of water representing the ‘Triveni’ tri-junction of rivers and the acronym and name of the city at its bottom, supported by a pair of red handles representing the control ‘handles of a gaming console. MUSHIKA According to the Ganesha Purana , Ganesha's mouse, originally a celestial musician named Krauncha, accidentally insulted Muni Vamadeva at Lord Indra’s  darbar and was cursed to become a mouse. But Krauncha was as big as a mountain and he damaged the Ashram of Sage Parâshara. The sage invoked Ganesha who unleashed his pasha (noose) and it looped round Krauncha’s neck and brought him to Ganesha's feet. Ganesha decided to take him as his vehicle. But when Ganesha stood on Krauncha he was too heavy and Krauncha cried out with pain. Ganesha took pity on him and made himself light and Krauncha has happily borne Him since. Others view the rat as a symbol suggesting that Ganesha, like the rat, penetrates even the most secret places. EMBLEM OF MADHYA PRADESH  Madhya Pradesh was created in 1950 from the former British Central Provinces and Berar and the princely states of Makrai and Chhattisgarh, with Nagpur as the capital of the state. The new States of Madhya Bharat, Vindhya Pradesh and Bhopal were formed out of the Central India Agency.
