International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Bhubaneswar is a result of the desire of the Government to establish a world class institute of Information Technology in the state. The Institute was registered as a society in November 2006 and in January 2014, it was converted to a University by the Government of Odisha. The Institute is fully owned by the Government of Odisha. The emblem of the university has a pair of concentric circular lines in orange housing a six petalled flower in green colour supported by its acronym and place. The orange concentric circles symbolise creative energy, potential, self realisation, oneness, equality, connection, simplicity and completeness and the flower with six petals in green denotes peace, connection, nourishment, joy, contentment and support.

HINDUSTAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND SCIENCE Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science (HITS), located at Chennai, Tamil Nadu commenced in 1985. The circular emblem in orange and green has a gear wheel housing a pair of laurels and circle containing a map of India and its year of establishment ensconced by its motto ‘Knowledge is Power’ on a green border. GLOBAL CENTRE FOR NUCLEAR ENERGY PARTNERSHIP Global Centre for Nuclear Energy Partnership (GCNEP) comes under the purview of Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) of Government of India. The vignetted blue to cyan colour circular logo has a partial structure of atom on top and its acronyms in Devanagari and English. The motto of the institution is written along the circumference in Devanagari ‘राष्ट्र की सेवा में परमाणु’ meaning ‘Atoms in the Service of the Nation, above and below respectively in grey. The taglines are supported on either side by Indian National Tricolour stripes.

AMITY UNIVERSITY RAJASTHAN The emblem of Amity University Rajasthan (AU R) has a shield divided into yellow and dark blue sections. The dark blue portion is a left to right upward sweeping stroke, bearing the name of the university. The yellow portion has a torch, the flame of which is written using its acronym. The shield has blue borderlines. The name and place of the university is written on the right side of the pictorial in classic serif font. DIRECTORATE OF FORENSIC SCIENCE SERVICES During 1983, the then Scientific Advisory Committee to the Cabinet (SAC-C) under the overall guidance of an Expert Committee chaired by Prof. M. M. Sharma, FRS, recommended that the laboratories in Delhi, Calcutta and Hyderabad must be developed as Science and Technology institutions, functioning in an autonomous fashion. Accordingly, the Government of India declared the forensic science Institutions, as Science and Technology institutions. In the first phase, the three Central Forensic Science Laboratories at Calcutta, Hyderabad, and Chandigarh were restructured into six scientific division viz. Biology, Ballistics, Chemistry, Explosive, Physics and Toxicology. Similarly, the offices of the Government Examiners of Questioned Documents at Shimla, Calcutta and Hyderabad were strengthened in terms of manpower under a directorate named Directorate of Forensic Science - DFS.
