India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) was set up under the Department of Post, Ministry of Communication with one hundred percent equity owned by the Government of India on January 30, 2017. The bank's tagline is 'Aapka Bank, Aapke Dwaar'. The logo of the bank has a red circle superimposed by three parallel yellow strokes in unequal lengths flowing freely, upwards. The red dot denotes the hub of the bank and the parent organisation - Department of Post and the yellow lines denote its reach to each and every household providing them banking services. Yellow represents warmth, speed and light. The strokes denote speed, efficiency and quality service. AT the right of the motif, its name is written in red serif font, the serifs of which face left. The typeface is trendy, clean and crisp. At the bottom of this its tagline is written in brown.
