The emblem of Madhyanchal Professional University (MPU) has a pictorial in gold and blue created with an open book, an inverted nib of a pen as torch with flame with a backdrop of the map of the State of Madhya Pradesh. At the bottom the name of the university is written using extra bold and normal sans serif typeface. The flame resembles the letter 'M'. The open book denotes education, learning, knowledge and wisdom; the nib of a pen represents enlightenment, hope, life, truth and the regenerative power; the torch with flame denotes freedom, intelligence, creativity, professionalism, determination and diligence; the colour gold symbolises wealth, prosperity, power, prestige and achievement and the colour blue symbolises serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.
