Founded in 2000 The International School Bangalore (TISB) takes pride on the quality of its education and our outstanding academic results. The logo of TISB has a dark violet shield with a orange border and a motif of human supporting and nurturing a human. This also looks like a blooming red lotus. This is supported by its acronym. At the bottom on a banner its motto ‘Vita Eadem Studia’ is written. This logo is crested by its tagline in Sanskrit ‘आजिवनम् ज्ञानवर्धनम्’ meaning ‘Lifelong Knowledge’.

RAJENDRA INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES (RIMS) The emblem of Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) is directly adapted from the State Emblem of the State of Jharkhand. The central motifs of the winged Staff of Caduceus entwined by a pair of serpents crested with a flaming torch, supported by an open book and a pair of laurels replace the Lion Capital; and the name, place and motto of the college replace the name of the State. The motto of the college in Sanskrit is ‘विद्यया विन्दते अमृतम्’ (Mantra 2.4, Kenopanishad), which translates to ‘Immortality Through Knowledge’. The Staff of Caduceus symbolises medicine and medical profession; the book symbolises the accumulation and dissemination of medical knowledge and the academic foundation of the institution; the torch with flame is an emblem of enlightenment, hope, life, truth and the regenerative power; and the laurels are symbols, which represent victory, honour and academic excellence.

SHEIKH BHIKHARI MEDICAL COLLEGE (SBMC) (HAZARIBAG MEDICAL COLLEGE) The emblem of Sheikh Bhikhari Medical College (SBMC) (Hazaribag Medical College) features a shield inscribed with the motifs of the winged Staff of Caduceus entwined by a pair of serpents, a mortarboard hat supported by laurels, a stethoscope supported by a laurels and an open book. The earlier version of the emblem of the State of Jharkhand is cresting the staff. The initials and place of the college surmount the motifs. The motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘आरोग्यं परमं भाग्यं’, which translates to ‘Good Health is the Greatest Fortune’ is written on a blue banner placed below the shield. TAMILNADU POLICE In 1659 Pedda Naik was engaged by the British to Guard the town of Madraspatanam with the assistance of peons. The system was the remnant of the ‘Kaval’ organization. Board of Police constituted by the then Governor Josios DuPre to deal with removal of public nuisance and maintenance of public health and order in 1770. In 1856 Police Act XII was passed by Legislative Council of the Governor General. J.C. Boudlerson became the first Commissioner of Police under the new Act. In 1906 Criminal Investigation Department was established. F. Fawcett was appointed as DIG. In 2008 Tamilnadu Police celebrated Sesquicentennial - 150 Years. In the same year the Chennai Police has been bifurcated as Chennai City Police Commissionerate and Chennai Suburban Commissionerate. This assemblage is placed on a cyan sunburst. GOVERNMENT WOMEN'S POLYTECHNIC, RANCHI (GWP RANCHI) The emblem of Government Women's Polytechnic, Ranchi (GWP Ranchi) features a green three-leaf clover (Triquetra Shape) with its lobe  inscribed with the motifs of a desktop computer, a drawing tool and a transmission tower. An orbital pattern is placed at the centre on a red traditional lamp. These are circumscribed by the name and place of the college. A black circle ensconces all the elements. The orbital pattern or atom represents basic sciences, nuclear or atomic structure, and the analytical logic that grounds all technical engineering programmes; the lamp symbolises the enlightenment of knowledge over ignorance, while its upward flame signifies continuous growth, progress and the career advancement of women in technology; and the other motifs represent foundational branches of engineering and modern technology taught at the college.
