MAJULI UNIVERSITY OF CULTURE

Majuli University of Culture (MUC) is a non-affiliating multidisciplinary higher educational institution with specialisation in the studies and research in culture and cultural heritage of India. The university is established by Majuli University of Culture Bill, 2017 which was passed by the Government of Assam. It offers programmes of critical research in the field of humanities and social sciences, folklore, language and literature, music and dance, dramatic and theatre arts, applied, visual and fine arts, various forms of traditional and modern crafts and vocations, design and architecture, archaeology, ethnography and sculpture, Indian traditional systems of health cultures and knowledge systems and any other forms of human knowledge. The blue colour emblem of the university is a tree standing above an open book and supported by a pair of laurels. Below these its motto and its acronym are written. Its name is written on the circular border around the motifs. The emblem is placed on a stand. The tree stands for strength, individuality and expression, calmness, growth and the interconnectedness of everything and the open book symbolises knowledge, education and wisdom.

NATIONAL INSTITUTE FOR SMART GOVERNMENT National Institute for Smart Government (NISG) was set up as a non-profit company setup in Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) in 2002 with 51% equity contributed by the private sector and 49% by the public sector under the recommendations of The National Taskforce on Information Technology and Software Development. The NISG was registered as a Section 25 company in May 2002 with its headquarters at Hyderabad. The vision of NISG is to establish itself as a centre of excellence in e-Governance to facilitate application of public and private resources to e-Governance in the areas of: strategic planning, project consulting, capacity building, and research and innovation. The NISG logo has a unique typeface wherein the letter ‘N’ has been shown as a bridge which depicts the connection between public and private sector.

SANT BABA BHAG SINGH UNIVERSITY The emblem of Sant Baba Bhag Singh University (SBBSU) in orange and blue has a Khanda forming the background for orange rising sun supported by an open book and a pair of laurels on sides surmounted by its acronym. KARNATAKA POLICE Police in Karnataka were called by various names in different regions. After initiation of policing, they were initially called Thoti, Talwar, Umbalidhar, Kattubidi, Neeraganti etc. The police primarily with policing used to do other jobs entrusted to them. Mysore State was the predecessor to Karnataka State, which was created on November 1, 1965. Sri. L. Rickets was appointed as first Inspector General of Police.
